We invited some of our author friends to send us a video wishing My Quiet dolls Happy Birthday!

The Party went well. The cupcakes were an amazingly yummy team effort. I baked and Andrea of Andrea’s Boutique frosted them- pink and purple with sprinkles, with a touch of almond extract (my favorite). I launched the Kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1683205810/merry-mermaids-for-christmas) at just after noon before I headed out the door. It was a bit cold so we had a few water drinkers but no interest in punch.

The hair tinsel was a hit. We have plenty left for a future event. Glow in the dark bracelets and nail polish were a hit as door prizes. So far we have just under 20 coloring contest entries so the odds are pretty good you’ll get a prize if you enter.

I was especially excited to see our Kickstarter hit $26.. My last campaign only had $26 pledged after 30 days and we hit that in one day! Thanks to all who pledged and all who stopped by!
