Daniel Boone, early frontier explorer

Daniel Boone, born November 2, 1734. He was very instrumental in the colonization of Kentucky. Contrary to popular belief he didn’t wear a coonskin cap and he was only 5 foot 8 inches tall- not “as tall as a mountain”. Many tall tales are told of Daniel and his adventures.
